I always use this song to teach the future tense as it really helps students with the pronunciation of the tense. The infinitive verbs are given and students have to identify the correct form of the future tense after hearing the song.

This is adapted from an excellent handbook for Spanish AS students I found on the TES. I have used checklists and reference materials from other sources as well as my own work.

Presentation begins with review of 'habiter' and vocabulary for houses and regions. Reviews prepositions used to mean 'in'. Worksheet provides opportunity to write full sentences based on the presentation and there is a small (but difficult) gapfill exercise on prepositions. Also includes introduction to rooms of house.

I have these printed A3 size and laminated and the students can refer to them when speaking in spontaneous debates in class. They have been very positive about them and far from slowing the pace, it enables them to keep talking!

Present and perfect tense of reflexive verbs. Two worksheets with gaps to fill in the correct part of the verb. One refers to normal routine and the other refers to a specific day in the past.

This is just a reference sheet which I supply to my year 7 after having introduced -er verbs. It is visually more interesting than most things I found on the net. It also includes my verb flower (an idea I pinched from someone else years ago!). I have large coloured verb flowers stuck on the wall of my classroom.

These excellent resources come from 1jour1actu.com and are aimed at French pupils from CM1 and CM2. Ideally suited for use with A2 students, they cover the topics of poverty, education (the school day), politics, the freedom of speech and equal rights for girls and boys.

I cannot claim credit for the original as this is adapted from a Spanish Ppt on ar verbs. It is full of questions and includes vocabulary relevant to most able pupils in KS3 and KS4 and could serve as revision for 6th formers.

This is just a revision work pack I gave to my lower ability year 8 set to help them to prepare for the end of module test.

This is a bingo game that can be used during 6th form speaking sessions. The idea is to cross off as many boxes as possible by using the phrases/tenses/specific vocabulary correctly. It encourages students to think about their range of language whilst they debate. It can be adapted for all ranges and to suit all topics.

This worksheet includes a link to a video which teaches young French children about the occupation. The questions and information come from the Association Charles de Gaulle and the French Ministry of Education.

For higher ability year 7 classes or as a revision sheet for year 8. Pupils will need to look some of the verbs up in dictionaries.
