The” Numeracy Questions: Five Minute Fifty” secure eBook series is intended as a means to help improve numeric skills. The series is divided into three sets, differentiated by level. There are five different books available for each set and each book comprises twenty worksheets, fifty questions per sheet, totalling 1000 questions per book.

This is the pdf version of a small puzzle that I have on the National 5 and Higher pages of www.mathsmutt.co.uk, concerning a molehill that appeared in the garden and some of the maths that could be found from it.
It could be used as a non textbook application of thinking mathematically or revision for quadratics, integration, cross sectional area and circle equations.

This puzzle is intended to be used as an introduction to vectors as a depth and challenge extension to plotting coordinates, but can also be used for revision purposes or as an end of term activity.
There are three worksheets.
The first contains 60 coordinates to plot and form a picture.
The second introduces points written in vector component form, to plot and form a picture.
The third requires vectors to be drawn.
The solution , which is the same picture in each case, is provided.
The sheets can also be used as a starting point for asking “what if” questions, prompting discussion about vectors.

This resource contains thirty printable worksheets to help reinforce equivalent and simplifying fractions.
There are fifteen equivalent fractions worksheets and fifteen simplifying fractions worksheets.
The questions are differentiated by difficulty.
