In this resource pack there are 5 different PDF files that have a number of parts ranging from very easy to intermediate to complicated. There are also guitar chords. Notes are labelled, allowing all learners to access the work. I have used this in my school with Year 7 classes to teach rhythm, to great effect. I have also attached the Sibelius files so that you can edit any parts, add additional instruments or to make a full arrangement etc.

Included with this bundle is a 40 mark AoS3 - Rhythms of the World assessment, with a 40 mark test paper and audio file of the corresponding songs. Gaps & clips have been shortened in length to allow the exam to be able to take place in a standard 1 hour lesson. This is an excellent way of measuring the progress of your student’s AoS3 knowledge and features a large range of questions in the style of the official OCR examinations. Specific topics covered are Indian Classical Music, Bhangra and Greek Music.

Attached is a help booklet that provides ALL of the information required for a student to gain top marks in AQA Performing Arts Unit 1, with each of the 4 written parts broken down so that the student knows what to write. The first in a series of keyboard-based exercises for young learners. Each exercise pack will have 6 exercises, ranging from 4-8 bars in length. Students will be able to learn about pitch, rhythm and correct keyboard finger positions. Provided with this resource are 3 Sibelius files for easy editing and 3 PDF files. File 1 has the 6 keyboard exercises, with just the notes. File 2 has the 6 keyboard exercises with the notes labelled by pitch. File 3 has the 6 keyboard exercises, with the finger positions labelled. This is the easiest worksheet and is part of a set that ramps up in difficulty. This worksheet is aimed at keyboard beginners.

This is an easy ensemble piece that has some interesting parts for more advanced players, but lots of simple parts for beginner musicians. All parts are doubled up to accommodate instruments in concert, B flat & E flat. This arrangement is simple, but very effective. It lasts for circa 3 minutes. You will be provided with a PDF file of the conductor score and all parts, as well as instrument parts. The Sibelius file is also provided for easy editing.
