A comprehensive set of resources designed to help students learn everything they need to know in order to solve EVIL Sudoku puzzles. After learning and practising all the skills they need they can go on to enjoy completing EVIL puzzles on their own just for fun. The resources include:- A jargon free reference list of the specific techniques needed at the EASY level. An animated Powerpoint presentation which explains, and helps students to understand, each technique. Printable worksheets to allow students to practise each of the techniques. An animated structured walkthrough of a full EASY puzzle on Powerpoint with commentary on how to take each step and the techniques being used. The presentation can be paused or back tracked to check understanding at each stage. A link to a popular website (permission given) which has millions of EVIL sudoku puzzles for students to enjoy and have the satisfaction of solving on their own using the skills they have acquired. The resources can be used for form time activities, after school clubs, lesson starters, or any other extracurricular opportunity.
