Assessment and Data Tracking Tool for Reading, Writing and Maths - Self Populating percentages

(0)
A simple spreadsheet that allows class teachers to record pupil attainment against the National Curriculum Standards in Reading, Writing and Maths. I developed this to use in my own school after having used a similar version I created for EYFS. It has quickly become the preferred assessment method throughout the two Key Stages. It allows teachers to record each pupil’s attainment with a single key press and in turn provides a breakdown analysis of all cohort data/percentages. Enter your class data at the beginning of the year with a simple Y/N for the various cohorts – SEN, Looked After (LAC), EAL, EMA, FSM, Summer Born (SB), Male (M), Female (F) etc. Termly or Half Termly; simply enter WAGD, WA, WT or WB for each subject. Each subject and cohort have accompanying statistics, these are completely self-populating and update automatically when you record pupil attainment on the record sheet. These tables provide an overview of your whole class and vulnerable groups within it. They are especially useful when viewed at the end of each (half /full) term in comparison with the previous (half /full) term as it becomes clearer how the learning has shifted over time and serves as powerful evidence of your classes progress in appraisal meetings.

A simple spreadsheet that allows class teachers to record pupil attainment against the EYFS expectations in all areas of learning. APS (average point score) and GLD (good level of development) percentages for the various cohorts - Male, Female, SEN, Looked After (LAC), EAL, EMA, FSM, Summer Born (SB) etc. I developed this to use in my class after becoming rather fed up with spending hours having to excruciatingly input and calculate the data whilst making lots of silly mistakes. Each area of learning and cohort has accompanying statistics, these are completely self-populating and update automatically when you record pupil attainment on the record sheet. Simply enter your class data with a Y/N for the various cohorts and profile scores 1 (exceeding), 2 (expected), 3 (emerging) into this spreadsheet; it will give you an overview of your whole class and vulnerable groups within it. This is especially useful when viewed at the end of each (half /full) term in comparison with the previous (half /full) term as it becomes clearer how the learning has shifted over time and serves as powerful evidence of your classes progress in appraisal meetings. Especially helpful at the end of the year when preparing to submit your Profile Data. It has quickly become the preferred assessment method throughout our EYFS. It allows teachers to record each pupil’s attainment with a single key press and in turn provides a breakdown analysis of all cohort data/percentages. Perfect when deciding which pupils are meeting age related expectations. Includes three spreadsheets (See Tabs at the bottom of the screen) First tab for a class of 31, second tab up to 150 pupils and third tab (RED) is a completed example.
