I am first and foremost a classroom teacher specialising in Religious Studies, Moral Ethics and Philosophy. However I also work as an assistant head teacher with responsibility for whole school teaching and learning. Although most of my time is spent on management and systems it’s important that I don’t forget that quality lessons are the best possible way to ensure students make the progress they deserve. I hope you enjoy my resources and that they save you some time.

(NEW GCSE 1-9) Data Rich Seating Plan - Automated/Data Driven/Colour Coded/Customisable/Interactive

(0)
Update: This seating plan now includes the NEW GCSE grading 1-9 (note I have not included fine grading as each school may do this differently). KS2 levels remain as they were until the new SAT's are taken in May 2017. If you would like the old GCSE grading seating plan please see: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/data-rich-seating-plan-automated-data-driven-colour-coded-customisable-interactive-11465423 This seating plan is an outstanding example of how seating plans can be used to show pupil progress as well as to inform the teacher of the pupils that need extra support or intervention in the class. Ofsted have said this is an excellent way of tracking progress in a visually appealing way. I would recommend this to be used in conjunction with a class personalisation plan. This seating plan only requires two things: • Your class data including key stage 2 levels, current data, target data, PP (Pupil premium or disadvantaged pupils), SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability • Excel and the ‘data rich seating plan’ In order to help you navigate the seating plan I have included a video tutorial to help you though customising the seating plan. This should save you time having to read through manual…and we all need time! (Credit: This seating plan was inspired by a colleague who ran a CPD session, on seating plans, in my school. All thanks to him for the starting point.)
