Your performers will explore the life Johann Strauss 2nd as they follow him through his childhood struggle with his father, to his amazing success as a composer and popular entertainer. With scenes written in contemporary style, an adolescent audience can enjoy watching the ambitious young Johann fall out with his Dad, experience an open audition, put together his first band and progress to selling out large auditoriums. Can be performed with either backing tracks or beginner orchestra. All C & Bb instrumental parts are designed for the less experienced orchestra and the piano part is well within the scope of a confident grade three player.
