This cross curricular topic planner details the curricular outcomes (ACfE) being targeted as well as lesson ideas and suggestions for each relevant curricular area. This planner is aimed at 2nd Level/KS2 pupils. It also links to the separate topic of Endangered Species (also available via my shop) and ties the two in together. This planning and assessment resource is designed to go alongside the resources for an Assembly on World Religions Festivals and Celebrations, as well as complementing the topic of Space and the Solar System. The resource also includes a short assessment to be completed following the end of the initial focus which is creation stories. This set of worksheets gives three tasks to consolidate and assess pupils' k & u in the area of 2D shape. This could be used as a homework task or as an assessment in class.

This challenge is aimed at upper level pupils. This gives pupils the opportunity to investigate, plan, develop and make a prototype of a new board game. They are then encouraged to Alpha test in their own class then roll out to the rest of the school to Beta test the product. Feedback forms for pupils to fill in are included and these are differentiated for upper and lower stages. This pack has the first 100 High Frequency and Tricky words for display in your classroom. These are displayed in attractive clouds and colour coded: blue for phonetically sounded words and yellow for tricky words. These will be super alongside any phonics and spelling programme and make an eye catching and useful display for pupils. There is also a set of colour coded and white flash cards available to purchase.

This board game is a fun way for children to practice their phonic blending skills. Excellent for an early finisher activity or as a station in carousel learning environment. Print both pages onto A3 and laminate. The spinner needs a split pin, and the game will require a dice and up to four counters (or similar game pieces).

This booklet is designed to give pupils an easily stored reminder of a range of grammatical terms, literary tools and punctuation information. This can be used alongside independent writing tasks, grammar tasks or simply as a revision booklet to go through from time to time. My pupils have found this incredibly helpful as they often have struggled to remember all the different concepts they have been learning about and now can just refer to this. Repeated exposure is increasing their recall of the information learned. This is more suitable for upper stages of Primary/Early Secondary level.
