C'est moi! 10 questions

How I plan to use 10 questions I am using 10 questions as a warm-up activity for my Grade 4 and 5 French classes. I will change my questions on a monthly basis. In order to develop fluency and pronunciation, I will model how to say the questions for the first week and then gradually release the responsibility to my students. The questions I am using will be centered around the units we are exploring as well as personal information that the students are able to share (ie. Age, birthday, nationality).

L'École, J'ai... Qui a... RACE CARD GAME

How to play: In this game each student receives a card or 2, listens to clues, and determines when it is his/her turn to play his/her card. It is a chain reaction game. Whoever hears the description that's also on his card will go next and so on until the last person reads "FIN". The game also reinforces listening skills and classroom/school objects. A fun game could be to challenge the group to finish the game as fast as possible. There are 32 cards in all. If you have a class larger than 32 students I suggest pairing up students. If you have less than 32 students you can challenge several students to take more than one card. I have added some blank cards if you wish to make up some more cards. May I suggest printing the cards on cardstock and laminating them. You may also print out an extra copy for yourself to follow along and assist those students who may need help. ENJOY!!! The vocabulary included is as follows: Le crayon Le marqueur La gomme Le stylo La colle Le tableau Le bureau Le pupitre Le professeur L’ordinateur L’élève Le trombone La brosse La chaise La fênetre La porte La trousse La feuille de papier La règle Les crayons de couleur Les mouchoirs Le livre Le cahier La sac à dos Le globe La carte Les ciseaux L’autobus scolaire La punaise L’école Le surligneur
