These picture cards can be used to introduce weather vocabulary, can be displayed on a Word Wall, or they can be used in centres. I suggest printing the cards on cardstock, cutting them and lanimating them. Also included are worksheets (vocabulary sheet, AND oral listening test) and a concentration game. (match picture to word). Enjoy!

J’ai…, Qui a…? (L’alphabet) is a game where each student receives a card, listens to clues, and determines when it is his/her turn to play his/her card. It is a chain reaction game. The game also reinforces listening skills and the alphabet. There are 27 cards in all. If you have a class larger than 27 students I suggest pairing up students. If you have less than 27 students you can challenge several students to take more than one card. I have added some blank cards if you wish to make up some more cards. I suggest printing the cards on cardstock and laminating them. You may also print out an extra copy for yourself to follow along and assist those students who may need help. ENJOY!!!

This file includes a French activity that reinforces beginner vocabulary. To begin the J'ai..., Qui a? card game, give each student a card. The student begins by saying "Début...Qui a...". The student with that card then reads out his or her card and the game goes on until the student with the last card says "J'ai l'étoile. FIN".
