Quick Questions is an assessment activity designed to review a range of different topics within a unit. Each assessment has clearly sectioned headings to support targeted skill intervention and problem solving questions at the end to add exam challenge. A single sided and double sided copy has been included to allow for extra space when writing methods. The task is designed to take 30-60 minutes depending on group sizes and ability.

#### Revision Circus: Basic Algebra (like terms, expanding, solving) - with solutions

This revision activity is designed to get small groups of pupils moving between different tasks and reviewing their understanding of a topic. The pupils divide a page (A4) into 4 sections, each headed with the title of a challenge. Each station has a differentiated worksheet, rule card, and answers to be used to review at the end of the allocated time. 6-8 minutes is given for pupils to practice the questions. The rule card is there to be used as a ‘hint’ and support the task – trading for this (tokens/lives etc) would add a competitive twist. 1 minute to review follows and then the group moves to the next station. The task is designed to take 30-40 minutes allowing for discussion at the end (useful when identifying last minute considerations/misconceptions before an assessment)
