Word Hunts Spring

Word Hunts Spring

My students love these hunts especially since there are codes that they need to 'crack' ... so fun! These word hunts are created with a twist. The children have to look at the pictures in each box and write the initial sound of each letter, then write the words in the boxes. Fun! This set includes spring vocabulary. Vocabulary words included in this set: flowers, bud, rain, nest, green, coat, windy, worm, lamb, and bloom. What are Word Detectives? There are two versions of the word hunts. Version one includes the missing words with the boxed letters so kids can input the words once they find them and version two is perfect for ELL/ESL students as it includes the words on the side and the kids can then search for them as they input the initial sounds. children look at the provided key for the picture and corresponding letter (these are initial sounds and the font is called KB ABC Doodles). So the kids can do these without the key, but when they first start it is recommended they use it! I hope your kids love these like mine did! Yara Sea of Knowledge
