I have created questions to ask children either as a time filler, a starter for a PSHE lesson or for a circle time. They prompt children to make a decision and argue as to why they made that choice! They are lots of fun and are a great way to get children talking and feeling comfortable :)
This is a morning greeting poster that I made and I have on my classroom door! Every morning children choose one of the options from my poster to decide how they would like to start their day :) My class love it and it has definitely got to be one of my favourite parts of the day. It is a great way to know how they are feeling, as well as starting off in a positive way.
I have a morning greeting on my door for the children to decide how they would like to start the morning! The options are a high five, a hug, a wave or a handshake. They really love it and it has got to be my favourite part of the day! It is a great way to know how they are feeling that morning, but also to start their day in a positive way. Due to the current situation I am not using this greeting at the moment, but I will do when it is possible again!
