A collection of ready to print pattern cards to use with LEGO® Duplo bricks. Patterns from very simple ones to those more advanced. All patterns use common Duplo® colours: red, blue, yellow, green, white, black, brown, orange, medium blue, lime green. There are two kinds of layout: vertical horizontal *** VERTICAL patterns *** Each built of 12 blocks. There are 4 patterns per page, 8 pages available giving you 32 patterns. Patterns follow several rules: AB, ABC, AAB, ABB, ABCD, ABCC, ABAC and more. *** HORIZONTAL patterns *** Each made of 10 blocks. There are 5 patterns per page, 4 pages available - 20 patterns in total. There are two kinds of patterns - simple AB or following 5-letter rule (ABCDE, ABCCD, AABCC and more). *** BLANK pattern cards *** If you want to save on toner or prepare patterns according to your bricks collection, choose LEGO® Duplo BLANK pattern cards instead. *** To prepare *** Print on white cardstock, laminate for durability and cut out. Extension activity when working with base 10. I created it for a workshop where we used Montessori Golden Bead materials. I chose a shopping theme which is very popular among young kids. The idea is that children go shopping - they choose which product and how many of it they want to buy. Each product has its price (1000, 100, 10 or 1) and we calculate the final price. The file comes with a how-to guide.

Decimal numbers to work with Montessori Golden Beads, Cuisenaire rods or other base 10 hands-on materials. Comes with two size version - large and small (each in a separate file). This is a .zip file containing two .pdfs (large and small numbers separately) In each file you will find cards grouped together on a page (whenever possible) for paper saving purposes, but I also added a “kind per page” version (units on a separate page, hundreds on a separate page etc) in case you’d need to print only these one type.

There are three different card types in this file to be used with 55 LEGO® bricks (control of error). Please use only one color of the bricks if possible: for placing bricks under the cards for placing bricks on the cards for placing bricks on the cards with 1-to-1 correspondence Print out, laminate and cut out. An extension activity for Montessori Bead Bars to use when learning the sequence of numbers (ascending order). There are two types of cards available - with colored bead bars and blackline. I grouped the cards in 3 sets (for color/blackline), so they can be all printed at once or one after another, when a rotation on shelves is needed (depending on individual preferences whether to have more or less cards available at the same time). How to work with the file? print out, laminate, cut out the cards prepare the bead bars in a small basket each card has three spaces, one with a printed bead bar and two blank - a child has to place bars in the blank spaces to make a correct number sequence
