This pack provides a lesson plan and associated bilingual (Spanish and Portuguese) resources to teach simple past, present and future tenses of the verb "to be". It is suitable for children in G2-3 and for children who are learning English as a second language. The unit is visual and follows a simple colour coded arrow concept - green back arrow for past, orange down arrow for present and blue forward arrow for future. This theme runs through the resources, making it easy for children to identify which tense to use. Print and laminate the flashcards for durability. The worksheets can also be laminated and used again and again as write-on/wipe-off boards. The mini arrow cards should be printed off and laminated separately. Then, in groups of three (green, orange and blue), insert a split pin through the top and use as show me cards. Please contact me if you require this resource in alternative languages.
