Our aim is to provide resources that ensure children understand the importance of sustainability and are aware of the climate change emergency we are facing, as well as being respectful and understanding of others. The resources will support global citizenship, helping children and young people to think critically and consider how they can help find solutions to problems that can help humanity and the planet.

The Perils of Plastic

(0)
The Perils of Plastic will give children an all round awareness of what plastic is and the dangers it presents to the environment, as well as practical solutions and alternative materials. It is aimed at age 9 to 14 (Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3), with extension activities for older and/or higher achieving learners, and it meets several objectives of the citizenship curriculum, education for sustainable development, and ESDGC/ESD, including the rights of future generations. There are seven sections that can be taught over several weeks according to individual timetables.
