USE WITH TEXTS SUCH AS MACBETH, MY BOY JACK, OTHELLO, AND AN INSPECTOR CALLS. There is a blank copy, which can be given to students as a starter. It will allow them to independently take note of any methods themselves. There is also a filled in copy for teachers; you can use this to go over and give any extra methods as part of a class discussion. Whilst doing this, you can also discuss whether or not each method is within the drama text you are working on. It is an amazing resource for a starter, for any play such as Macbeth, My Boy Jack, Othello and An Inspector Calls.

The resources that I have provided can be used as a starter for students, or even as a quick and small task which can really help consolidate their learning. Can be used for MACBETH, OTHELLO, MY BOY JACK, AN INSPECTOR CALLS, ETC… I have included one blank copy of the resource which can be handed to students so they can work independently or as pairs. I have then provided a filled in sheet for the teacher, this will allow open a class discussion which will be useful for students to add the methods that they did not have. It will also allow for students to share answers and ideas, which is a useful way of learning. Depending on what drama text is being studied (such as Macbeth, My Boy Jack, An Inspector Calls, or Othello) the teacher can further CHALLENGE the students to identify which specific methods are displayed within the play.
