My MA in Education culminated 20+ years of experiences teaching ages 6-70. The fun of doing curriculum "backwards" (theory last, experience first) is that my experiences of Navajo, prison, Hispanic, Anglo and Alaskan cultures were approached with a fresh--not prejudgmental--perspective. My AB from U.C. Berkeley in '65 and first assignments in a Stanford-based experimental school formed my discipline and broadened my horizons to encourage vanguard teaching. Enjoy a Berkeley rebel's view!
