Combined Science Trilogy extended response questions

6 Resources
This bundle includes extended response questions for Biology, Chemistry and Physics papers 1 +2 ! SAVE a whopping 72 %on buying them individually. 100’s of questions available… ALL from past exam papers Get those 7-9 Grades! Extended response exam questions including marking scheme Paper specific Prepare students for the extended response questions. These questions are where students can gain a large amount of marks but are often very daunting! The questions included range from 4 to 6 marks. These questions target A02 (Apply knowledge and understanding) to A03: (Analyse information and ideas). This resource contains a large amount of practice questions, essential preparation and practice for students. Selected for COMBINED SCIENCE TRILOGY 9-1 but will work also for Separate Science and These are extended response questions from sample and past papers from AQA but should prove very useful for all exam boards… How I used them: I have printed these, laminated them and folded them in half and glued it closed. I have put these in a folder on the wall and students can use them to practice extended writing tasks with the help of the leveled grade descriptor. Students can then turn over the card and self assess using the marking scheme. They could also be given to students in a booklet and used as homework questions for revision ahead of a PPE or the GCSE.

Reversible reactions and dynamic equilibrium

These resources have been tailored to suit the AQA Combined Science Trilogy specification for 5.6.2.1 to 5.6.2.3 of rates of reaction, but would be suitable across all exam boards. Reversible reactions, energy changes and equilibrium Lesson objectives: Describe what is meant by ‘reversible reaction’. Use ideas about energy changes to predict the outcomes of reversible reactions. Differentiate between reversible reactions in open and closed systems.

Combined Science Trilogy Wall Display

** UPDATED TO INCLUDE 2019 GRADE BOUNDARIES AND A FULLY EDITABLE VERSION ** This is a wall display I made for Combined Science Trilogy. The purpose of this is a “one stop shop” for students and acts as a guide to help them in revising for PPE’s and ultimately the 6 exam papers. It includes: Banners Details on exam structure, marks and times 2018 Grade boundaries (AQA) Topic lists for each paper Equation sheet provided in exam (with notes on units they must learn) Physics Equations to learn (with symbols and units) as flashcards Chemistry Equations to learn (with symbols and units) as flashcards Biology Equations to learn (with symbols and units) as flashcards Required practical posters broken down by paper (Titles and diagrams for all 21 practicals) I have included a small screenshot of a quick mock up of how to arrange all the components of this display. This is only a small fraction of what the entire resource is. I have uploaded all documents as PDF however, I am happy to email you the word/google docs format should you wish to edit. This took countless hours to make but it should serve as being a very factually correct, relevant and informative display for both students and teachers alike.

Classroom display for all 21 required practicals on Trilogy specification for AQA. Practicals are separated by paper and each one includes a diagram and title. Useful for students to identify where each practical is examined so they can familiarise themselves with them and for quick reference in class. You can print them all on one sheet or each paper has a single sheet.

aqa trilogy chemistry paper 1 mock exam questions

(24)
I have created a mock style paper that I used with my year 10 class ahead of a chemistry paper 1 PPE. The questions cover the content of the c5.1-c5.5 sections of the AQA TRILOGY GCSE exam spec. The total marks are 56, not the typical 70 marks expected of a paper. I used these for a 'walking talking' mock with my class. Questions have been taken from AQA past papers in Core, Additional and Further Additional papers. They would be good prep if you plan to use the specimen chemistry paper on the aqa website with your class as a PPE. Its free to use so please give feedback if it helped you :)
