This game allows students to use their understanding of divisibility to practice determining if numbers are divisible by divisors such as 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, and 10. This practice is helpful as students learn to simplify fractions by looking for common factors, which is directly connected to divisibility.

These posters take the skills and define them by asking students to think about the mathematics with open ended questions that help them make connections about the math they are doing and the context they are applying them to.

Digital Planbook with Google Slides-Black or White High Contrast/Neon

Why Plan Online? My teacher planners are always totally cute-but I don't carry them with me all day. Not carrying a huge book shouldn’t limit my ability to work on the go and use those pockets of free time to prepare for my kiddos, so I began creating this planner based on my needs and have added ideas based on feedback from others. Since I have my google drive on my phone I ALWAYS have access to my plans. If I get a good idea, see something I want to add to a lesson, snap a photo that inspires a great science talk-I just upload it to my drive on my phone and it is all RIGHT THERE no matter where I am. Major Perks! Access it anywhere you can connect to the internet. ANYWHERE! Copy/Paste links to videos/images that you want to use in your lessons. This makes it so much easier to pull up the things you want to show! Duplicate pages you use over and over so you don’t have to retype/write things again and again. Share with colleagues for collaborative planning. Work with a team that shares planning responsibilities? Awesome-everyone can access a shared plan book to add their pieces-even at the same time! New year? No Problem! I plan to update this each spring with new calendar pages. You can make a copy of next year’s file and then use the Insert > Import Slides button to import any of the items from previous years that you want to use again. Want to use different planning styles for different units? Easy! Just duplicate the slides you want to use and place them in an order that makes sense to you. Once this planner is yours, you can make as many as you want. I organize by quarter so I have four. I duplicate what I need and delete the rest!
Divisibility Lesson Plan with Materials and Student Foldable

Divisibility Lesson Plan with Materials and Student Foldable

(0)
This lesson plan helps students develop a conceptual awareness of divisibility through exploration. Students test a variety of numbers for divisibility (I prefer to let them use calculators for increased reliability) and then look for patterns to develop divisibility rules. Relationships between factors and divisibility become evident as students notice that they can use their understanding of factors to predict what a number may be divisible by. Materials for the lesson include posters for students to write on as they do the activity and number cards to test. The graphic organizer included can be printed in multiple formats so that you can choose how much information you want students to write, vs. what you want to provide for them.
