I have always maintained that to get the best out of pupils you have to believe in them before they can let themselves believe in you. Therefore, when that belief is there, the pupils can perform and, at times, outperform expectations proving that they are worth the investment of time and energy. I have shown, in all my posts that I can gain their trust, respect and commitment to such a degree that in turn they have increased their self-belief, confidence and image.
