Many education leaders and technologists have criticised the US school system for failing to move with the times.

But to reach a mass audience in a very short space of time, perhaps they should have put aside some of their intellectual arguments and instead tried rhyming 'Gandhi' with 'Zombie'.

That is what rapper and spoken-word artist Prince Ea does in his latest video in which he criticises schools for going about their business in the same way today as they did 100 years ago. Since posting the video online less than two weeks ago, it has gone viral with more than 75 million views on Facebook and almost 2.5 million shares.

In the video, Prince Ea stages a trial with the education system in the dock for its failings. He has titled it 'I just sued the school system!'
