The class needs to be divided up into groups of 2-3 students. each group is allocated an energy resource that can be used to generate electricity e.g. fossil fuels/nuclear/wind/solar etc.
The groups use the 'weakest link cards' to write in their research notes.
To play 'the weakest link' each group has to give one reason why their energy resource is the best. After each round, the teams vote off the resource they think is the weakest link until only two teams remain.
To decide the winner, the teacher then uses a simple quiz on energy resources (not supplied).
