This resource is a lesson revolving around Eva Smiths diary. An excellent lesson that explores the link between Eva Smith and Anne Franks diary. In this lesson students will begin to create links between Eva Smith and the treatment if women in 1912. The final task will ask students to complete their own diary entries from the perspective of Eva Smith during different time periods in AIC. Not only will this encourage students to consider the mindset of Eva, but it will deepen their understanding of the text and allow students to hone in on their creativity.

Lesson follows the **I DO , WE DO, YOU DO **structure encouraging the gradual release of responsibility.
