We’re proud to be partnering with Aldar Training Academy to provide a range of our ITT courses across their schools in Abu Dhabi and the UAE.

Through this partnership with Aldar Education we'll become an exclusive ITT provider for our Straight to Teaching, Assessment Only, ECT Induction, and International Postgraduate Certificate in Education (iPGCE) courses. This supports our commitment to helping teachers develop their careers across the UAE and Middle East.

Talking about the partnership, Maria Sharples, Director of Aldar Training Academy said “We are pleased to partner with Tes offering pathways for our talented body of staff across our schools. We hope that providing routes for ECT’s and educators looking to gain QTS through a trusted partner will support our talent management processes enabling us to identify and retain the best talent from across our schools."

As Abu Dhabi’s largest and leading education provider, Aldar Education is a highly trusted name in educational excellence in the UAE. Starting out with one school and 250 students in 2007, it has grown to become a provider of choice with an education network supporting over 6,500 students across seven academies and one nursery.

In support of the educational goals of the Abu Dhabi government, Aldar has set out its mission to empower the next generation to build a sustainable knowledge-based economy through premium education.

With a clear vision and its long-term plans guided by the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030, Aldar’s investment into the capital’s education sector has included the most advanced teaching technology, creative and sports facilities that have provided a truly transformational experience for its students and staff.

This is exemplified by the fact that in 2018 Cranleigh Abu Dhabi, a British international school and one of Aldar’s largest in the region, received the Tes International School of the Year award in recognition of its intellectual, artistic, sporting, spiritual and social development.

Commenting on the partnership, Laura Marshall, Programme Director for our Straight to Teaching programme said It is very exciting news looking ahead to be working with all the schools as part of the Aldar Training Academy. Through this partnership, we can use the breadth of Tes courses available to support candidates in their personalised journey in education with a shared vision of quality teacher training. We look forward to a very positive year ahead supporting the partnership to continue to grow and strengthen the teaching profession through the recruitment and training of their fantastic staff.”

The partnership with Aldar also demonstrates how we continue to realise our vision to empower schools and enable great teaching worldwide, by creating intelligent online products and services to make the greatest difference in education.

Commenting on the announcement, Ryan Jones, Tes’ Regional Head of Development for the Middle East and Africa said “I am extremely proud to have been a part of securing this partnership with one of the leading educational training providers: Aldar Training Academy (ATA). We are thrilled to be teaming up with a company that shares the same vision of delivering the highest quality teacher training across the Middle East. On behalf of everyone at Tes Institute, we cannot wait to commence working with the team at ATA along with all the amazing teachers in the Aldar Education schools.”
