Tes speaks to NEU members to find out the big issues teachers will want to see prioritised by a future government in a likely general election year

As we head closer to a general election in England, teacher-members of the NEU teaching union spoke to Tes as they gathered for their annual conference.

Members of England’s largest education union met in Bournemouth for their annual conference to discuss and debate the top priorities teachers want to see highlighted in parties’ campaigns.

This year’s conference was the first under the new leadership of general secretary Daniel Kebede.
