Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an exceptional Finance Assistant to join the Trust as soon as possible. 

Post: Finance Assistant

Location: Plymouth Based (Remote working, with hybrid working under review)                                          

FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade C, Point 5-7, £19,650 - £20,444, per annum

Contract Type: Permanent, full time

Contract Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday

About the role

We are seeking to appoint an excellent Finance Assistant to join the Trust as soon as possible.

About the successful candidate

The Finance Assistant will be a member of the Shared Services Centre, responsible for the efficient and effective processing of purchase ledger related transactions for all schools in the trust.  The role will report into the Lead Finance Assistant and will encompass a variety of duties that will be rotated. These include daily processing of transactions, regular review of open items on the ledgers and addressing any queries and issues. The post-holder will interact with many different stakeholders including third party suppliers, customers, academy staff, the Trust’s Executive team and Trustees.

Reach South is a young and developing Trust which operates across the South West of England with the aim of delivering all through 3-19 education.  We operate 14 academies in Plymouth, Bournemouth, Dorset and Wiltshire.  We are building this Trust on a clear set of values, behaviours and curriculum principles.
