A Derby primary school are in need of a part time class teacher for their year 2 class, the role is looking to start in September. The school have specified that they want a skilled practitioner with good subject knowledge as well as a focus on behaviour management. The key ethos of the school is to create a nurturing environment that stimulates positive behaviour and wellbeing. As a result of the hard work, determination and the vision of the head teacher and senior leadership team, the school is continuing on its journey as a ‘good’ school.
The school itself has recently been improving its capability to teach children of both different backgrounds and abilities. Having recently created a sensory garden on their grounds as well as increasing its bank of available teaching assistants for the classroom, a big shift in focus has been to cater for a wider variety of children. The school are building their staff so that they can provide high quality teaching and learning with an outlook to continual and development and improvement.
The role is listed as starting in September and through the autumn term until December, it will be on a 0.8 basis as the children will have specialist teachers and lessons on a Friday (music,art,ict).
