Do you have access to a car and at least 12 months experience working with Special Educational Needs in either a school or a care (Health and Social background) setting?
***We currently require a full time 1:1 Support Assistant for a fixed term to work in an SEN school in North Leicestershire.***
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and caring SEN School Assistant to work on a full time supply basis working with children and young people with SEN on a 1:1 basis.
The pupil will be Secondary school aged and shows difficulties of challenging behaviour and Autism.
Team Teach, Autism Awareness, Moving & Handling Training, Makaton, BSL, PECs are all advantageous training schemes for this role in Leicestershire.

· Relevant teaching or teaching assistant qualifications (or equivalent)
· At least 20 days recent experience of working with children
· In date DBS registered to update service
· Available at least 2 days a week
· Flexibility to work in a variety of schools
