The Ridgeway is a nurturing and inclusive school situated within a diverse community in South Reading, with enthusiastic, happy pupils who enjoy learning and a committed and highly motivated team.

We are looking for experienced, self-motivated and patient 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistants to assist children in Key Stage 1 and 2.  Experience of working with vulnerable children on a one to one basis within a primary school is essential.  In order to support this position and to secure excellent outcomes for our pupils, we can offer ongoing training and professional development.

We are looking for professionals who:
1. have a nurturing and inclusive approach to all children and their families;
2. can positively engage and support children with their learning;
3. have high expectations for children’s learning and behaviour, and can apply these consistently;
4. can build positive relationships with children, colleagues, professionals and parents.
