1:1 Teaching Assistant, Nottingham

ABC Teachers are currently looking for a level 3 Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 at a school based in Nottingham. The role will be working 5 mornings per week delivering targeted sessions in core subjects. The role will be to encourage and engage with a lower level pupil and to bring additional support to meet their needs. You will need to have strong behaviour management skills and be able to work effectively alone. 

The school are looking to improve their methods in 1:1 support and are looking for an exceptional Teaching Assistant to help develop and progress. This “Good” school are hoping the right candidate will show the skills necessary for the role to work. 

The ideal candidate will have a relevant level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or "great" experience within this field. You will be confident in delivering within a 1:1 capacity and show enthusiasm and passion into the role. You will take on the school’s ethos and promote a friendly working environment with a positive team ethic. The school are very supportive and offer a feeling of togetherness throughout. 

The school is based in the very accessible location of Clifton and can be easy accessed by Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire. The role will be looking to start in January 2019 and will run until July 2019.
