An excellent opportunity to join the academic team at the London Academy of Excellence Tottenham.
LAE Tottenham opened in September 2017 to its pioneering year 12 cohort and has nearly 400 students on roll as of September 2019. It is an academically selective 16-19 free school harnessing the support of nine independent schools to offer unrivalled educational opportunities to the most ambitious and motivated 16-19 year olds from Haringey and beyond.
The academic coach will work with some of our most exceptional students, offering subject enrichment in area(s) of specialism. Typically these students will be making applications to the most competitive universities. In addition, the role will entail working with individuals or small groups to improve general study skills.
The successful applicant will have excellent educational qualifications, including exceptional A Levels (or equivalent) and a strong undergraduate degree and a genuine passion for their subject(s).
This role would be ideal for a recent graduate with a passion for social mobility looking for some experience in a 6th form setting. Pay dependent on experience, using the LAE Tottenham pay scale.
Candidates with subject specialisms in STEM-related subjects preferred.
This role is offered on a full time basis (35 hours per week) during term time only.

The principal education sponsor, Highgate School, provides significant educational support, including seconded teaching staff. The business sponsor, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, provides funding and employment links.
