Job overview

Achievement Partner (Primary)

Yorkshire and Humber

FTC until 30th April 2021

The link between low income and low academic attainment is greater in the UK than almost any other developed nation. Children eligible for free school meals are less likely to get good GCSEs and go on to higher education. This makes it more likely they will struggle throughout their lives, widening social inequality. It’s a cycle that we’re determined to break.

We work with thousands of brilliant teachers, schools, universities and partners in England and Wales and we are seeking a fantastic Achievement Partner who wants to make a real difference to school children in the areas of greatest need through our Leading Together programme.

Leading Together is a comprehensive two-year school improvement programme designed to support whole leadership teams working together to bring about positive change in both primary and secondary schools. The programme empowers schools to build an environment and culture that can transform outcomes for pupils.

As Achievement Partner, you will lead the delivery of the programme with your cluster of schools. You will use your deep sector experience to support your headteachers and Senior Leadership Teams to complete a rigorous school diagnostic, to understand strengths and priorities for development across the school. This will feed into the development of a strategic improvement plan to drive significant and sustained school improvement.

Along with the satisfaction of knowing you are working for an organization who are making a real difference, you will receive £66,000 per annum & excellent benefits.

The day when no child’s future is limited by their background is coming, yet, there is still more to be done. Join us and help us ensure every child in the UK has a fair shot at achieving their ambitions.
