Highfield Summer School is owned and run by Highfield, a prestigious boarding prep school that enjoys outstanding academic success, and feeds the top senior schools in England. The Summer School provides English language tuition for overseas students aged 8-15 years, as well as a three week taster of all the fun, sports and activities that are part of life in a real English country boarding school. 


We are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious and talented individual to create and lead an exciting daily programme of activities for the students, as well as plan and lead an enriching programme of excursions. The successful applicant will be extremely organised and be capable of assuming responsibility for managing the overall running of the activities and excursions, briefing and co-ordinating staff, conducting and implementing risk assessments to ensure staff and student safety, and managing the often quite challenging logistics of transport, staffing and supervision requirements. 


Qualifications:

The Excursions & Activities Manager must have the ability to enthuse and engage children and build a caring, friendly and positive rapport with students and staff alike. With a creative flair, they will be able to make full use of our first-rate facilities, resources and beautiful 175 acre grounds to develop a varied, balanced, stimulating and inspiring programme. Applicable experience of leading school trips and managing activities is required.


The post holder must be available from 10th July to 3rd August 2019. 


Salary & Benefits: 

The total salary for the role is £1650 (including statutory holiday pay). Accommodation, as well as all meals and refreshments are provided for the duration of the course, and staff are able to enjoy the beautiful Highfield grounds and facilities in their spare time when not in use by the school.
