Additional Learning Support and High Need Officer (0.5 post)

The successful candidate will play a key role in the collection and analysis of additional learning support data and in the setting up and monitoring of tracking systems to ensure there is available evidence for the ALS claim and EHCP processes. The role involves collating information and reports relating to High Needs Learners and working with the Director of Student Support Services and ALS Team Leaders on the co-ordination of EHCP review meetings.

This post plays a key role in preparing funding claims in an efficient and timely manner in line with internal and external deadlines and supporting ALS processes such as Assessments, Exam Access Arrangements, planning and delivery of support. Knowledge of and experience of working with specialist databases to track the collection of evidence of needs is required, to support the College's ALS claim and the planning of support and funding applications

The successful candidate will be educated to at least Level 3 or above and have knowledge and understanding of disabilities and/or learning difficulties, coupled with excellent computer literacy skills and proven evidence of undertaking training on MIS systems and/or other databases.

 Founded in 1992 following the merger of four further education facilities, The City of Liverpool College is a co-educational, non-denominational further education facility operating from six educational sites.
