ABOUT THE ROLE
The role will report into the ALS Manager but will specifically focus on Dyslexia support provided to our Apprentices within Vision Business.
The main focus of Vision Business is to deliver high impact consultative solutions that exceed the expectations of businesses and individuals who engage with us. Apprenticeship delivery is at the heart of what we do and we make a substantial contribution to the Government’s apprenticeship strategy, we are a market leader in our field and everything we do is about maintaining and strengthening our position.
We measure our success by how many of our clients achieve their apprenticeship programme and are happy with the service. We also measure how many of our employers value the services we provide to their business and the contribution our apprentices make.
The ideal candidate should have experience and knowledge across the range of Additional Learning Support and in particular Dyslexia. You should also have working knowledge of the support funding available for Apprentices. You will work closely with the ALS Manager, Dyslexia Coordinator, Specialists, Quality Managers and Funding/Compliance Team and across the different Curriculum Areas. Your focus will be the planning, delivering and tracking of tailored support packages to college apprentices with an identified Additional Learning Need. In addition you will have recent, relevant experience delivering administrative support to a wider team enabling processes to become streamlined and fit for purpose.
This post presents a genuine opportunity in the area of Additional Learning Support and would suit an individual who is flexible in their approach, highly motivated and passionate about additional needs, specifically focused on making a difference to our college apprentices. Training will be given to the successful applicant as part of an individual continuous professional development plan to be agreed, and will be a requirement of the post.
