The Laurus Trust is a rapidly expanding multi-academy trust with a reputation for outstanding teaching and learning.

Gorsey Bank is a high performing primary in Wilmslow and we are also home to the Altius Alliance, a teacher training provider which has been given the top grade by Ofsted.

As a result of our success, we are proud to have been selected to open five brand new schools across Greater Manchester, three of which opened in September 2018. 

An opportunity exists for an Administrative Assistant at Gorsey Bank Primary School to start 2nd September 2019. We seek to appoint an outstanding individual who is eager to join our successful school.

Required to start ASAP

This is a permanent, term time only position plus one week.

Salary: Scale 3, £18,795 to £19,171

Actual salary:£15,408 to £15,725 pro rata per annum

Hours: 35 per week - Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4pm

You will have:

You would join a team of highly committed and dedicated professionals who work exceptionally well together.  Our forward thinking school is committed to safeguarding the wellbeing of our pupils.  The successful applicant will be subject to DBS and vetting checks.

Professional Development

We attach huge importance to continued Professional Learning and recognise that, in the exciting and ever-changing environment in which we work, we are all learners and are constantly looking for ways to improve our practice.

Our comprehensive programme of in-house Professional Learning comprises weekly pedagogy-based sessions, Further Professional Learning sessions, and opportunities to coach and mentor and to engage in research.

Being part of a Multi Academy Trust enables our staff to work across schools and phases. Not only does this broaden their experience, it opens up a wider range of leadership opportunities.

As a Trust we actively develop our teachers through nationally accredited programmes such as the NPQ's and many of our staff have completed courses at Masters level. Members of our Leadership Team regularly engage in school-to-school support and deliver training for Early Career Teachers.
