Description | The role of Administrative Assistant is a temporary part-time position (3 days per week) to provide support and administrative assistance to the Coordinator, Counselling (2 days) and the Education Officer Sport/PDHPE (1 day) | |
Position Requirements | • Have excellent typing skills (minimum speed of 50 wpm)
• Attend and respond to telephone & email enquiries • Organise counselling team meeting schedules and documentation (Agenda, Minutes..) • Manage student counselling files and records • Manage ordering and cataloguing of counselling resources • Update calendars, schedule events and send information to Principals and Sport Coordinators • Upload and update student information on the Meet Manager System and CSSS Sport website. Progress student online nominations • Check and book venues for Diocesan sports • Provide direct secretarial support as required |

Essential Criteria | • Have advanced computer skills (all Microsoft Office programs including Excel) and good working knowledge of Google suite (Gmail, calendar, docs, sites)
• Excellent administration and organisational skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to demonstrate initiative and be self-motivated • Have the ability to organise workload, meet deadlines, work independently and monitor own performance • Have a high degree of discretion and ability to handle sensitive matters in a professional manner • Have a high level of confidentiality • Have demonstrated ability to work as an effective and collaborative member of a team Working With Children number must be recorded on your application |
