Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Receptionist/Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will be based in the main office and will provide reception and general administrative support to the school under the instruction of the Headteacher’s PA. You will be an ambassador for the school, responsible for welcoming visitors and acting as the first point of contact over the telephone and face to face.

Edgar Wood Academy is a new school which opened its doors in September 2021 and serves the local community in Middleton and Heywood. We are based in a brand-new, state-of-the-art building, currently with a total of 300 students in Years 7 and 8.

This role would suit an adaptable, efficient and flexible team player who can demonstrate an ability to use their own initiative and be proactive. We want to employ enthusiastic staff that will grow with the school.
