As an autism-focused school, we seek a candidate with empathy, expertise, and organisational skills. They should have an understanding of autism, demonstrating compassion for learners and home settings. As a highly oversubscribed school, they should excel in the management competencies required to oversee admissions. This is a complex process that requires liaising at a highly professional level with multiple

stakeholders.

Proficiency in safeguarding procedures is crucial, including policy implementation, recording and actioning as appropriate. Effective communication with stakeholders is essential for building trust and fostering collaboration. Ultimately, the ideal candidate advocates for learners with autism, prioritising their rights and holistic development.
