This is an exciting opportunity to join our new Professional and Adult Learning Faculty, to manage our outstanding adult learning provision. We want to ensure that the faculty continues to provide excellent learning and development opportunities experiences for our adult learners, whilst providing up-to-date curriculum and programmes to meet the needs of the local area.
The suitable candidate will manage our adult essential skills and adult community learning provision as well as linking in with our growing adult apprenticeship, professional learning and ESOL provision. They will demonstrate a passion for Teaching and Learning and a commitment to responding to learner feedback and putting the learner at the heart of all decisions. The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching within FE and a proven track record as well as the ability and ambition to support lead the current delivery team to continued and future success, ensuring we provide exceptional adult learning.
The successful candidate will have had experience of working in partnership with local employers to enrich the curriculum and a strategic understanding of the Adult Education Budget. They will also need a robust and up-to-date knowledge of the changing landscape of further education and post 18 education.
