Applications are invited for the post of Afternoon Sports Centre Supervisor at The Royal Masonic School for Girls. The School has an excellent Sports Centre on site, which is used by pupils for PE and sports both during the day and after school, and also, under the management of Nuffield Health, by members of the public in the evenings.

We are seeking an Afternoon Sports Centre Supervisor, to oversee the safe operation of the Centre for our pupils who attend after school clubs and other activities. This person will be responsible for the oversight of all aspects of the pupils’ safety, from the moment they enter the Sports Centre until they are seen off with their parents at the end of the club or activity. 

It will require a thorough understanding of safeguarding principles and practice, an empathy with younger students and the confidence to manage adults in the Centre where necessary to ensure pupil safety. 

The position is required Monday – Friday from 3.15pm until 6.15pm (15 hours per week).

The Royal Masonic School for Girls is an independent school located on a 316-acre site in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. Providing places to both boarding and day pupils, the school is an all-through institution educating pupils aged 2-18. 

Founded in 1789, the school was originally intended for use by the children of Freemasons. It is now non-denominational and has no restrictions on attendance. As an academically selective institution, the school require potential applicants to undergo formal or informal assessment before a place is offered.
