Would you like to make a difference and help give Mole Valley's young people a fresh start?  The Link, an Alternative Learning Provision for KS4 students in Dorking is seeking a coordinator to develop this incredibly important and exciting provision.

The Link is an Alternative Learning Provider (ALP) run by the Mole Valley Network (Therfield, Ashcombe and The Priory) to provide an education to students at Key Stage 4 who have required a fresh start.  The Link is seeking a new coordinator who will help to develop this provision and will work with a number of young people at the centre in Dorking, helping to provide both an education and pastoral support.  The coordinator would work with the ALP's line manager (Chris Panting at The Ashcombe School), specialist teaching staff and two Teaching Assistants to ensure that the students at the provision have the very best chance to reach their potential.  We are looking for a person who has had experience of education and working with young people to support the next stage of the provision's development.

Pay scale: £34,500 FTE Actual annual salary: £24,508 

Hours: 30 per week (6 hours a day, Monday - Friday: 8.45am-2.45pm), 39 weeks a year (term-time only) 

Contract: Fixed Term until 31st August 2018
