40 hour week – Monday to Friday on an all year-around contract
We currently have an opening for an apprentice Commis Chef to work alongside and train under our highly professional kitchen team preparing breakfast, lunches, dinners and function food for approximately 600 day girls and staff including 55 boarders.
You will be someone who is highly organised and eager to learn in all areas including knife skills, pastry work, food presentation, larder skills, costings and portion control. Full training will be given in all areas and this should enable the successful candidate to transfer to any professional kitchen at the end of the fixed contract.
