Job overview

Boothferry Primary School, Goole seeks an Apprentice Teaching Assistant to work with individual pupils and small groups of learners.  You will also provide a high level of classroom support under the direction of the class teacher.
You will be flexible, enthusiastic and happy to work as part of a team and be committed to working towards (and not already hold) a Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification.

The post is fixed term for the duration of the qualification.

Hours: 30 per week, Monday to Friday during term-time plus 5 training days.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. 
Appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
