Job Title: Apprenticeship Skills Advisor 

Salary: £20,655 - £23,256 pro rata 

Contract: Maternity cover, two positions available 0.8FTE and 0.68FTE 

The City of Bristol College is seeking two dedicated and professional Apprenticeship Skills Advisors. 

There are two roles are both temporary maternity cover posts: •

0.80 FTE maternity cover (30 hours per week) 

• 0.68 FTE maternity cover (25.5 hours per week) 

The City of Bristol College is a large, vibrant general further education college, operating from four sites across the City of Bristol, providing learning to over 14,000 students. The College aims to build on its reputation, be at the forefront of innovation, expand the contribution of provision to the region and position itself to meet the demands of an ever-changing world.  

Reporting to the Senior Business, Partnerships and Enterprise Manager, this role will be responsible for ensuring that employer enquiries and leads are converted to enrolment and are securely managed so that the process is timely and customer focused.   

As an Apprenticeship Skills Advisor you will be responsible for acting as ‘the bridge’ between employers and prospective apprentices. You will provide support and assistance to the curriculum areas in the delivery of study programme work-placement and work-relatedness compliance and condition of funding.  

The successful candidate will have the ability to support and enable the achievement of high rates of positive destinations for our students and high levels of employability/work experience content.
