Salary: GR3 SP20-28 £19,539 - £25,103

Harborne Academy is situated in a residential suburb close to the centre of Birmingham. The Academy opened its state of the art building in October 2013. The Academy is on a journey to excellence and was judged to be good by Ofsted in June 2017.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Arts & Design Teaching Assistant to provide support for teaching staff within the Design & Technology department. The successful candidate will provide a support service to staff and students within the Technology Faculty area with a specific focus on the Engineering Curriculum (BTEC), supporting students and ensuring tools and machinery is in safe working order. You will also support across the faculty in the Catering and Art areas. The candidate should have good practical Engineering/maintenance skills and experience of working with young people.
