Art Therapist

8 hours per week

£32,546- £36,979 per annum (prorata to 42 hours)

We are looking to recruit an Art Therapist to join our Counselling Psychotherapies Team. The role involves delivering individual and group art therapy to support students aged 7-25 through emotional or mental health problems, learning and/or physical disabilities, developmental disorders, life-limiting conditions, neurological conditions and/or physical illnesses. Treloar’s has an inspiring atmosphere and we love making a real difference to the lives of our students.

The successful candidate should have a flexible approach, have received training in Art Therapy to Post-Graduate Diploma level and be a member of HCPC. You should have experience of working in a clinical capacity with children and young adults with learning and physical disabilities. Experience of art therapy software/digital work as well as traditional media is also required.
