Job overview
You would assess Electrical Installation students, mainly off-site in their places of work. The role will involve monitoring and reviewing students’ progress, complying with all administrative requirements and tracking students’ achievements. You would also be actively developing links with employers to increase opportunities for students’ employment/placement.
You will need to possess a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation and an assessor award (e.g. A1) and have some assessing experience. You should also have recent experience in Electrical Installation industry, and will have the ability to engage young vocational learners aged 16-19. This post will involve travelling to workplaces in the London area and therefore a driving licence and own personal transport is required.
