We are now recruiting for a Full Time Assessor - Plumbing
Derby College is looking to recruit an Assessor in Plumbing who is flexible, self-motivated and dedicated to student achievement and quality. You will hold a relevant Level 3 vocational qualification and will have up to date knowledge of the industry. Ideally you will hold a relevant assessor qualification or you will demonstrate the enthusiasm to work towards achieving this.
A minimum of level 2 in both English and Maths is also required for this post as embedding of these two topics is essential in our move towards outstanding teaching and learning. If you think you have the skills, drive and motivation to transform learner potential into successful learner outcomes, then this could be the opportunity for you.
You will be required to assess national qualifications and other learning programmes within a variety of settings, ensuring achievement of agreed performance and quality targets.

Derby College is a large general further education college with four sites in or near the city of Derby. It supports around 26,000 learners, who choose from more than 1,000 full-time and part-time apprenticeship, A-level, BTEC and NVQ courses.
Derby College was established as a single institution in 2002 by merging three further education colleges: Mackworth Tertiary College, Wilmorton Tertiary College and Broomfield Agricultural College. A merger between South East Derbyshire College and Derby College was approved in 2010. Heavy investment has been made by the college in its teaching and learning facilities, from the fully equipped teaching kitchens at the Roundhouse campus to the high-tech science labs at the Joseph Wright Centre and the Equestrian Centre at the Broomfield Hall campus.
